Glen Wood

Glen Wood is a Tsimshian artist that works in a variety of media. He is trained in carving boxes, bowls, totem poles, masks and panels as well as creating pieces of jewellery or works on paper. He was trained at the 'Ksan school from 1973-74, instructed by Sam Wesley, Vernon Stephens and Ken Mowatt. Glen has worked alongside many artists including Gerry Marks, Norman Tait, and Art Thompson. He has carved a totem pole for the Prince Rupert Museum with Dempsey Bob as well as participated in a Treasures of London exhibit at the Vancouver Museum. His work has been exhibited in BC and New York.
