Moving Forward is simultaneously a piece exploring transformation (note the wings becoming hands) and a depiction of a Ga,ahaba raven-frog crest in honor of Edzerza’s deceased family member. It seems fitting that transformation and death are explored through parallel lines but this piece also reinforced the idea of hope implied in its title by the superimposition of the lighter toned graphic in the embrace of enveloping background figure.
