Gerren Peters

Gerren Peters is a Coast Salish & Nuu-chah-nulth artist born on July 27, 1983 in Maple Ridge, BC. He was taught by his father, artist Tom Patterson. Growing up, Gerren frequently visited the workshops of his father's friends -- artists such as Tony Hunt Jr., Stanley C. Hunt, Jay Brabant, and Ron Harris. Gerren takes the traditional skills and techniques he observed as a child and injects them with a healthy dose of modernism and Pop Art influence, resulting in his unique contemporary style.
