Mitch Adams
Mitch's father is Haida jeweller, Ivan Adams. Ivan introduced Mitch to Northwest Coast design and engraving at a young age, though Mitch only began creating work on a regular basis in 2005. Since then, he has become a talented wood carver, he has honed his engraving techniques, and he has created numerous limited edition prints. In 2010, he enrolled in the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art in Terrace, where he currently lives. At the Freda Diesing School, Mitch learned design and carving skills from celebrated artists Stan Bevan, Dempsey Bob, and Ken McNeil. Mitch's 'Moon Cycle' design was used by the Terrace Literacy Program in 2010.
